As a brand and communication consultant, Sandeep Nanu has built four companies spanning over 26 years and currently leads writeclick, a consulting firm focused on brand strategy and execution. His career is defined not by balance, but by deliberate design, blending professional rigor with pursuits that most would call hobbies but he considers essential.
A wildlife photographer specialising in birds, a snake rescuer, and a stand-up comedian, Nanu’s work extends well beyond traditional consulting. His approach to both life and work is rooted in a simple principle: experience matters more than the deliverable.
Over two-plus decades in the branding and communication industry, he’s worked with major companies across sectors, building expertise in brand strategy, communication frameworks, and cross-platform execution.
Photography
Nanu’s love for nature finds expression through bird photography. Armed with a camera, patience, and a precise eye, he captures avian life in its natural habitat, raising awareness about biodiversity and conservation through his images. In 2025, he exhibited some of his best work at two different venues called Flight Path.
Stand Up Comedy
Nanu has been performing stand-up comedy since 2022, bringing observational humor grounded in growing up in Bangalore. He founded Malhar Laugh Club the same year, a regular comedy platform, and actively contributes to programming at Courtyard Koota, a performance space focused on connecting people through art.
Snake Rescues
As part of the core team at Goodearth Malhar, Nanu actively participates in snake rescues within his community. With a clear understanding of venomous and non-venomous species, he ensures safe rescue while advocating for coexistence with these misunderstood creatures. His work in this space emphasises education over fear.
Entertainment
His active lifestyle extends to badminton, where he regularly competes in community matches and tournaments. He practices sleight-of-hand card magic, performing close-up tricks that explore misdirection and perception. When not on court or at his desk, he rides his Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2, an electric performance motorcycle that reflects his interest in technology and hoping for reduced carbon footprint.
